Cat Cafes

My friend’s boyfriend is a great cat appreciator, but he can’t have a cat right now. He has spent time in Japan, and he told his girlfriend about how there is a new craze in Japan: Cafes where the customers can play with cats! If you couldn’t have a cat at home, and could go to a cafe to get your feline fix, would you?

The Japanese people are always at the forefront when it comes to style and beauty. Hope this trend carries over to the rest of the world — think of all the cats who could have good lives if it did!

That is really great! I’d probably spend way too much time there and my own cats would get jealous :)

I like how CNN considers cute cats to be “Breaking News!”
    More like Breaking MEWS?

I agree with Angie – I’d hang out there all the time!

As I understand, it is very expensive and difficult to own a cat in Japan – at least in the cities. I’d probably go to a cat cafe.

Some American B&Bs offer “cat service,” as well. It’s cold out there, throw another cat on the bed!

I would totally go! That would be so fun. I own a cat and would still go. :) But I wish I could get coffee there too.
